School Council

About Us

The School Council at GHP is a structured groups of parents, school administration, teachers, students, and community representatives who work together to effectively support and enhance student learning. They provide a method for members of the school community to consult with and offer advice to the principal regarding school operations. Our school council's work includes:

• focus on what is best for all students in the school
• the consideration of the interests of all school stakeholders
• development, maintenance and reflection of the culture of the school  
• a representation of the parent and community voice in the school community 

Our Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday, September 12 @ 6:30pm where our 2023-24 School Council was voted in.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings - this is a great way to hear what is happening at the school, and how you can be involved.

If you have questions or items to add, both the school council chair and the principal will determine if school council is the location for discussion - please contact School Council Chair to add items for the agenda.
