In the Catholic Church, November is a month for remembering the saints in heaven and all who have died. However, on the 11th day of November, we remember and honour a particular group of people. On this day, Canadians across the country take time to honour the men and women killed while serving in Canada’s military, and we pray for those who continue to serve today.
At GHP we will be celebrating Remembrance Day on November 8th at 1:20 pm. We will have a Remembrance day ceremony followed by a liturgy. All community members interested in attending can join. Doors open at 1:00 pm.
